Frequently Asked Questions
How does Lurien work, what do we track, is it GDPR-friendly? Straight answers.
How does Lurien work?
You upload your CV as a PDF, get a personal share link, and send it instead of an attachment. The moment a recruiter opens it, you get an email with who, when, which city, how long they spent, and which pages they lingered on.
Does the recruiter need to create an account?
No. They just click your link. Optionally, you can require them to enter an email before viewing — otherwise the visit is anonymous and you only see city and duration.
Do I upload my CV as PDF or rebuild it from scratch?
Upload your existing PDF (up to 10 MB). We don't recreate your CV — we make it trackable. Optionally our AI module reviews it from a recruiter's perspective.
The job ad says 'send as PDF' — does the link still work?
Two approaches: (1) Put the link in your cover letter/email body and attach the PDF too. (2) Only some companies allow link-only — for those, send both. Either way you get tracking.
How does pricing work?
Free during MVP. No credit card required to start. Paid plans will be announced later.
Is my data safe?
All data sits in the EU (Frankfurt). GDPR/KVKK compliant. IPs are SHA-256 hashed, never raw. Account passwords use Argon2id. Before AI calls, sensitive personal data (national IDs, IBANs, phones, emails) is auto-masked.
What happens if I delete my account?
Your account, CVs, links, and view history are permanently deleted (GDPR Article 17 right to erasure). We keep an anonymised audit row (no PII) for compliance — that's it.
